God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea (Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas, July 2013)
In the South, nothing is more refreshing than a glass of sweet iced tea. Nothing, that is, except experiencing God in those small, everyday moments.
God, Me, and Sweet Iced Teais a deeply personal collection of spiritual treasures designed to help readers experience new mercies each morning. Seasoned with insight and grace, this tender devotional points to the divine presence of God in everyday moments. God, Me, and Sweet Iced Tea will help readers develop a daily habit of turning to God in those quiet moments of reflection.

My Thoughts:
Sometimes we just miss it!  We miss seeing God at work, because we are waiting for the fireworks and forget to listen for that still, small voice.  Johnson reminds us to look for the goodness and glory of God in all things.
Johnson's devotional offers 52 reminders to consciously look for God in the midst of our days.  He is there!  Each devotional thought offers a thought by Johnson as well as suggested scripture readings, journaling considerations (with lines provided to jot down your own thoughts), a prayer focus and "Today's Sweet Tea Moment".
As a good ole Southern girl from Mississippi, I sure do love my sweet tea!  I have enjoyed this little book that shares big gospel centered reminders of the beauty of God in the midst of our mundane and how He makes all things sweet.
I was provided a complimentary copy for the purpose of this review.
Happy Reading Ya'll
Jennifer
